the-lost-city-of-zAn upcoming film based on the 2009 David Grann’s book The Lost City Of Z: ATale Of Deadly Obsession In The Amazon. Pitt stars in the film and is scheduled to produce it as well. The story is about an explorer’s search for a British Colonel who disappeared trying to find a legendary City of Z during the 1920s.


In 1925 the legendary British explorer Percy Harrison Fawcett (Brad Pitt) ventured into the Amazon determined to make one of the most important discoveries in history. Colonel Percy Fawcett spent most of his non-military career mapping previously unknown regions. He was searching for an ancient civilization, which he had named, the City of Z.

    I can’t wait for this moveie. I’ve been a Percy Fawcett fan since I read one of his books when I was a kid, in the 1960s.

    This movie is coming in the same year that I will participate an expedition in the footsteps of Colonel Percival Fawcett.
    The leader of this expedition believes we ll find something that will shock the whole world.

    As a true history addict, I cannot wait for this movie to be realeased. Brad will do an outstanding performance as Mr. Fawcett and I have no doubt as producer this film we be destined for numerous awards. Can’t wait Brad, it will be a movie to make all other producers jealous.
